WinXP and related programs running slow with Clipper program open?

Hello i have winxp installed and the clipper program up and running. I have issues where if i have the clipper program in the back minimized my outlook or any other windows apps run slow. Is there antything i can do?

Hello,

Native Clipper is a bit of a pig. It has a veracious appetite for hogging the CPU.

There are solutions, even patches if you don't have the code.

Patches probably won't do much.

Give of some more information about your clipper application. Such as what linker are you using, what linker switches are used, what kind of operation is being performed when you switch focus back to your XP application...

Dependant on the version of clipper being used, the patches really can make a huge difference - they can render the software workable.
