After print job is done then workstation freezes(winword not responing)when printing a doc from network then reboot is necessary. But you can print from the C:\ OK. Loging as a new user anything prints and closes fine. Log the prvious user on another workstation the user can print from network OK. Using Netware 32v33 and Compaq en workstations. Already delete and recreated user on network and reistalled office 2k. Any ideas please. Thanks in advance.

you might have a virus that either infected the words doc or system files. Try to clean the PC using a bootble antivirus diskettes such Norton Anti Virus before you scan it with windows based anti virus.

Are you printing to a caputured port lpt1 etc or via a windows print port, direct to the queue? It may be a setting on the capture or the queue like /hold or spooling. Lee Smith

If the capture is being run from alogin script or batch file then use the /NB. This turns of the banner. If the port is being captured by windows then it is on the Netware client, default capture page to turn of banners. Lee Smith

On this workstation another user can login and can print from the network folders with no problem. just this one user is having a problem, but he can logon to another workstation and print from his folders on the network without a problems. I'm stumped!

Do you have ZENWorks installed? Workstation Manager? Anything like that? Also, what version of the NetWare Client are you using, v4.8?

Good luck.
