WINWORD.EXE in Task Manager when Word isn't open?

Hi,
I'm running Office 2003 SP2 on XP SP2.

I'm not sure why, but every once in a while when I look at Task Manager, I see WINWORD.exe running, even though I don't have Word open.

It sounds like this problem:

but it says it was fixed in SP2, which I have.

I also have Outlook running all day. I'm not sure if that's what might be causing those phantom Word processes?

Has anyone else seen this problem and/or know how to fix it?

In Outlook goto Tools> Options> Mail Format. If Use MS Word to edit e-mail is selected then you have your answer.
