I have this problem that is very annoying.
Has anybody ever seen, heard or experienced this error in Word 97?

"Winword caused a general protection fault in module hpowin03.dll..."

Just a guess, but sounds like HP printer driver problem.

1) Try rebooting PC and try again.
2) Try reloading printer driver software again.

I've had this happen with my HP OfficeJet twice before.
