I can't remember my Winspm password. (the initial one to start the program).

Any known resolutions?

I thought that might be the answer. Thanks I'll try that.

Not the answer: Look at your .ini file, you will see the password, but each character is 1 character higher than the real password, (cheap encryption?), so if your real password is FRED, the "encrypted password" will be GSFE.

Pepperz!

Gold Star! Oh heck Platinum star! I saw the "encrypted" password but couldn't figure what it meant. Also good to note:[ is the first character (apparently) after Z

People, just log into it with your laptop and chose password to change. You do not need to go crazy trying to find it in .ini files. unless of course your not on site?

OK. move your sitedata file or rename it then reload the software and move it back.

hacking the password was much easier. That is it helped me recall what I set it to.

Better yet, look in your .ini file and find the line that reads, SomePasswordIsSet=False (mark it as "False" if it's marked true.) Kind of cheap way of changing the password?
