Are there any known issues with running WinSPM version 7.0 on an laptop loaded with the Windows XP Operating System. Yesterday I tried to do some remote programming. I was able to link with the switch but I couldn't open the quick access. If I went to standard SPM the word "monitor" would be in the upper left and that was all that was in the dialog box. Very strange!

I've not heard about XP being non-supported, since it is mostly 2000, WinSPM shouldwork. As far as what you got, there are probably two things.
First, if the Legend you were linking up with were prior to Release 7, quick access is not supported, and secondly, I've had the same thing happen with the "monitor" showing up, and it always occurs with a bad connection. Sooooo, Q1, was your connection to the switch good? and Q2, Is this a Laptop with a goofy modem card. Some of the PCMCIA's are just snooty when it comes to WinSPM.

OK. How did you get it to install. My install on XP dies on step three where you add a location.
It will only let me type in the name of the location and that's it. No modification of the address or connection type etc.

any suggestions?
