WinSPM Direct Connect

Does anyone know what the pin-out is for the DB-9 to RJ-45 connection to the admin port on the Merlin Legend? I'm trying to connect directly to my laptop from my serial port to the RJ-45 jack on the system.

To do this you need a 355af adapter. There are pinout diagrams that tell what the pins go to, but I wouldn't recommend that. The adapter has some resistors to protect the laptop. I have seen people blow the serial port on their laptops by using a homemade connector.
The adaptors are available thru Graybar dealers for about $45.00.
