winsock warning

Anyone ever seen this warning when using winsock:

Command line warning D4027 : source file 'wsock32.lib' ignored

It goes away if I take wsock32.lib out of the linker settings (but of course so does winsock!). It doesn't seem to affect anything but I would like to get rid of it.

Do you have wsock32.lib as a source file in your project? That's what it appears the warning is indicating. Try removing it from the 'Source Files' section of your project, but link it in - that would appear to be the solution from where I sit.
