I have a VB App server winsock program which works fine i can connect clients transfer data etc. I wanted to create the client in VFP6 so i placed a winsock control on the form and added in the remotehost detail port. I have a button on my form which when click will connect to the server. But the winsock never connects the state is always zero. In vb the code is very simple and straight forward is there anything i have to do different in VFP. has anyone got any suggestion
