I'm trying to use a winsock control in a form in an Access 2000 database.

However, I can't seem to get it to do anything other than give me the local IP (no connections or anything).

I have a VB6 program that does this, but it doesn't seem like the winsock in Access has the same events it does in VB6.

Is there something I need to do to set up Access to use this control?

(Yes...I am perhaps way over my head here....)
