Winsock control (First Time Use - UDP)

Want to use the Winsock control from the Toolbox of Visual Studio .Net.

Are they a good example regarding using this control.

I wish to setup a thread to receive UDP packets (blocking) from my main application.

Note I have used TP/IP sockets before but a bit unsure of the use of this control.

I have have a search on the no joy!
