Wins Replication

I have a question about W2k WINS replicating with older WINS databases. Microsoft's Technet article, mentions that when you upgrade a WINS server the database will be "converted" into a newer version. if this is so what will be the impact if any of replicating this info back into a previous version of the WINS database.

IE: W2K replicating records with NT4 wins database.

I wouldn't do it... you should upgrade your WINS servers to Win2K
If your NT4 WINS server is also a Domain controller, you should consider moving the WINS service to a standalone server Peter Van Eeckhoutte
