Wins Question

Hi all,

Quick question hope someone can help.

I have a NT4 server with a Token Ring card and WINS is pointing at this IP address, the server also has an ethernet card installed. We have move all PC off the token ring network and onto the ethernet network. Can I add another entry in WINS which points at the ethernet cards IP address or will this course problems with the existing WINS entry.

Have you moved the WINS Server to the Ethernet network? or is it still connected to both networks? If it has already been moved, you should be able to disconnect from the Token Ring network and change your WINS config to point to the new IP (Ethernet)
