I'm trying to set up WINS on my DC, to start a push and pull with a member server at a different location so that the 9x machines there can join the domain.

However, Wins on the DC keeps binding to my DSL IP, instead of the IP assigned to the NIC for our internal network. Is there any way to correct this?

humm ... I ve seen this on MS site once... the bindings for the service are not good, since wins is binding to your external IP. I can t remember the exact procedure, but you must update the priorities of the wins service and bind it to the right adapter. Try searching MS site for this kind of thing.

Also, check and see if you have an outdated hosts and lmhosts file. If it's wrong, it'll confuse it. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
