WINS Problem

Hi,

I have a WINS Server on a PDC which doesn't seem to be resolving. Looking at its database it seems to be collecting data as per normal but when you try pinging a machine name it does not respond. Yes, i do have the correct WINS settings configured on the Server and on the clients.

Is there any other way to test this?

I don't think a ping will use WINS. If you do start run \\servername does it resolve?
