HI,
We have two class B subnets - 10.1.*.* for staff and 10.0.*.0 for students separated through vlans and a router. Each of these subnets has its own PDC with DHCP and WINS installed with a scope for its respective subnet.
The staff PDC WINS server reports that about 50% of its queries recieved have failed.
The student PDC WINS server reports no failures although its event log reports that there are multiple NACKS on certain IP address requests.
Does anybody know what could be causing this. If needed I can elaborate...
Do I need push/pull replacation switched on and if so, how can I pull/pull between the two subnets / PDCs.
