I have a problem. I Currently get Bad IP Address
when I goto ping a hostname, but if I ping the IP Address
itself it works great. This causes me not to be able to see my remote print server and add printers to a background server.
My PDC / Print server has the Primary WINS of the remote
wins server which the background server is pointing to.
In what way could I test to make sure that the WINS database isn't faulty?
Its only a few hostnames that it says bad IP address, the rest work fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
