Does anyone know if you can setup WinRoute (Version 5 or 6) with three NICS to create a VLAN? (Nic1=Internet; Nic2=LAN A, Nic3=LAN B)

I want Both LAN A and LAN B to see 1) Internet and 2) couple of print servers via IP#.

Can WinRoute allow traffic between Internet and Print Servers but block everything else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Peter

in case you mean the following:

allow traffic nic1<-> nic2
Allow traffix nic1<-> nic3
Block traffic nic2<-> nic3

yes that is possible. all u need to do is creat the following rule:

Source: nic2 + nic3
Destination: nic2+nic3
action:deny

if you want to block microsoft networking but allow printing between nic2 and nic3, i am not sure, but you could add the services used by MS networking to the rule, and then change the tule to allow, but you would need to change the rule that allow traffic from any to any interface...
