has anybody played with ip tunneling in Win NT, how feasible, how close to RFC, does it connect to non-NT machines?
Secondally how secure is it after the SP4 Upgrade, has anyone out there tested it?

Thanks
The PPTP doesn't "connect to" per se`, but allows a client to connect to the server via the Internet. "Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol works by simulating NDIS LAN adapters that provide an encrypted bi-directional data channel directly to the TCP/IP computers on each end of the connection. Since it works as a LAN adapter, other protocols such as IPX and NetBEUI can be used within the secure tunnel, thus allowing the operation of any NT networking protocol or service through the secure tunnel".
It should connect to any machine that has the TCP/IP protocol installed. As for your other questions, I can't help there, as I haven't played around with it. Hope that at least answers part of your question.
