WinNT Exchange server and Win2k Server Election problem........

We just purchased a new LAN here at my work that is running win2k. We used to have a Novell LAN that is using a winNT exchange server. My problem now is that when i try to get the winNT server on the same domain as the Win2k server, they have an "election" and the winNT server loses the election and fails to start up any of the services. I am also trying to get the Win2k server to see the exchange server in the Active Directory.

Can anyone out here help me??? We would like to migrate to our new LAN, but w/o the exchange server talking to the win2k server, that is not possible.

Oh and i have tried putting them on different domains and still no luck. I will update if i find anything else, but if you have some advice, feel free to leave your comments.

Try Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Q136712, It describes registy hack that will stop the Exchange Server from wanting to be the Browse Master.
