WinMysqlAdmin start/stop

Have you ran the configuration yet?
Go into DOS
Go to the location of mysql (c:\mysql)
Go into the bin directory
Run mysqld --standalone
This will create the default databases and start the database. (The windows does not close, so give it 2-3 minutes before closing it)
At this point, running winmysqladmin should give you a green light.
