Winmodem sound

I use a Winmodem 1.0.01. I can't get the sound to work. I can't hear dial tones or handshaking. The sound did work at one time. Anyone know what the problem might be or how to fix this?

you may want to try and reinstall your dialer in dail up netowrking or check that the sound is actually turned on in the dialer and make sure that your sound from your modem doesnt come in through the speakers cause i know one of my modem's sound comes through the speakers since it is a built in hsp modem. if you have any questions you can email me. <br>
