WinMe problem with Dreamweaver 3, please help

I am now using WinMe on a clean install with DW3, now when I hit F12 for "preview in browser",the screen just locks, and it has to be shut down using ctl alt del, it says "properies not responding".If I then restart DW F12 will work, but only the once, then the problem starts again.
Any ideas, it was fine with Win98SE [sig][/sig]

i want to make some cells in a table on a template as editable regions, i can do this but when i create a new page from the template i can't split the "editable cell". Is there a way of doing this or not?
