WinME Compatabile with Que! Firewire?

I recently bought a Que! Firewire 8x4x32x external CDRW by QPS. ( It seems to support only Win2k, and Win98se. Confused that there's not a driver yet for WinME, but I was wondering if anyone knew a way around that--a way to fool the driver. (or if anyone has one I haven't found yet)
