Winlogon.exe has generated errors....

I'm trying to install Windows 2000 SP 3 onto an IBM ThinkPad that's running Win2k Pro. It goes through the install in the beginning... and then after the backing up section, I get this "winlogon.exe has generated errors and will be closed" error. So I click "ok" or "cancel" or whatever the choices are and the laptop blue screens and reboots. Right now, it has SP 1 on it.

Any ideas on how to get around this??

Try disabling all virus software first. It should load after that. Good luck

I tried that, bracadar... still get the same error and reboots. Thanks for the advice tho.
