I used to use that command in win 98SE and it brought up a box with all my ip info and i could reset my ip addy. I used this a lot of time when I had a network. Now that i dont have a network i dont seem to need to use it.

But, i would still like to be able to use it should i have to and i cant find it in win xp pro.
Can someone direct me to the right file?
Im guessing it is still run from the dos "run" command?

thanks

there's also ipconfig as a start>run>cmd dos command.

thanks for the link!

Actually, tried running winipcfg from the run command and it opened up and closed real fast.
I didnt try it from the command prompt though.
