We have Citrix Winframe 1.7 (Windows NT 3.51) with the latest service packs and Visual Foxpro 6.0 installed. When we work on VFP6.0 the menu screens are only halfway on each line. What causes this? When I call Citrix they say that "we don't provide help with Winframe 1.7 anymore". HELP!!!

I'm afraid the problem is not entirely WinFrame. Visual FoxPro (I have been told) does not use regular Windows APIs to paint screens, but uses a bitmap technology instead. Most of us know how well Citrix handles bitmaps (NOT!).

You have a couple of options to ease, but not eliminate the problem. This first would be to upgrade to WinFrame 1.8. This was the initial version that used SpeedScreen which I have witnessed to have an amazing affect on FoxPro video.

Next, you may want to consider Terminal Server/MetaFrame. In version 1.8 you also have SpeedScreen 2, or SpeedScreen 3 using Feature Release 1.

You really need to consider getting your OS up to date.

Hope this helps... - Bill
