hi
u can try port 22(ssh) or 23 port in setup winfiol like cisco or linux system

Winfiol works using telnet not ssh so is insecure. If you are aware of the insecurity and still wish to use telnet, the easiest way is to enable the tenet daemon on server 1 using Yast. (There is a way of using a telnet/ssh proxy on the client PC but I have lost the document defining how to achieve this.)

When enabling Telnet in Yast, select “Network Services/Network Services (xinetd)”. Then select telnet from the list. Be sure to select the “tcp” version with path in the “server” column of /usr/sbin/in.telnetd.

Hi,

To setup the Winfiol for mx-one:

- In the “New channel name” field, type a name for your channel. Click “Properties”.
- In the tree view, highlight “Protocol”.
- Use the drop down list at the end of the “Protocol” field to select TCP/IP. The tree view updates with four sub-branches: Mode, Setup, Advanced and Dial-up.
- In the “Mode” sub-branch, click the “TTY” bullet in the “Initial mode” area. When you open the channel, WinFIOL automatically [tries to] establishes a connection (because the “Open communication port when opening channel window” box is ticked) and the cursor will be in TTY mode when the connection is ready.
- In the tree view, highlight “Setup”. In the “Host name” field, type the eth0 IP address of the Telephony Server that you are trying to connect to. Do not alter the port number!
- In the tree view, highlight “Target”.
- Click the “Add” button adjacent to the “Prompts” area. The cursor moves to the input field below. Type “MDSH>(32)” (without quotation marks).
- Click the “Add” button again and type “:(32)”
- Click the “Add” button again and type “Are(32)you(32)sure?(32)”
- Complete…..
- Click OK.

Telnet should be enabled in linux.
