winfax pro question

Hi,

I didn't find a fax forum, this is happening on my 2k pro using winfax ver 9.

I send a fax using email feature to my email acct and the file has .dat format, but i am not able to open it. Outlook 2000 generates a message to use view menu/options/file type to see the file , but under view/options i don't have a file type entry.

any comments is appreciated.
