Windows2003 admin password lost

Hello,

I lost the administrator password of the windows2003 session on customer call pilot.

Is there a way to reset this password or shall I have to reinstall it ?

What about ngendist, ngendesign or ngensys passwords? If not you are going to have to reinstall. I hope you have an automatic backup running. You need to be sure it is from the client and that it completes.

Well, I tried the default NGenSys,NGenDist an NGenDesign passwords, of course, but seems to have been changed by the previous cutomer.
I even don't know if an automatic backup is running as I do not have Call Pilot manager password too.

So, I think we will have to reinstall it completely.

Take the backup tape to another system and see if you can at least read the header info.

If you mean the Server OS password, there are a variety of ways to recover those...after all, it is Windows.
