A typical aplication, one EXE and many DLL, compiled in C55ee, runs perfectly in W98. But, the same one in Windows Xp reports an error more or less like this "The application could nor inicialize correctly (0xc0000005). Clic to terminate the aplication" (This message originally is in spanish, i did my best in the translation.)

Thank you very much

Has at least one Printer been defined on the XP machine?

Have you compiled in C5507 EE (C5.5G) and above?

Thank you for the quick reply.

I have an printer defined, but my c55ee is the original, no patches... anyway,

I could solve the problem by creating a new folder, and in it creating new empty app (with the same DCT) and then importing the whole application form "importing from Application". Iv done this starting from the last app ending at the firs (looking up the structure in the .SHP)

Now it works ok in Windows Xp, NT & 98.

May be this solution serves to any other person that have this problem.

Regards..

XP support was introduced from C55ee07 onwards. If you are going to install in XP machines, please upgrade yr version to C5507 or C5508. I prefer C5507 since I have a few problems in C5508. All the patches are free and are available in
