windows xp with office 2000

i installed office 2000 pro on my windows xp media center system and i'm having problems running word.

we need alot more information than that to help you... is word the only program that is crashing? do all the other programs work ok.. maybe a run repair is all you need to do. but the more info on the problem you have can help us, help you.

yes only word is not working, i uninstalled office and reinstalled office after i rebooted the machine.

Ok so we know it is just word but what exactly is word doing anything, errors?

word is starting to open but pops up with error message and asks me if i want to send to microsoft.
