Windows XP SP2

We are on release 3.0.40 that seems to working okay. What are some opinions on upgrading to xp SP2 since the windows patch expired for the download last month?

i don't have any problems with release 3.0.40 and windows XP SP2. The only thing i changed is disabled that **** windows firewall.

Seems to be a lot of us with our firewall disabled. Can't be the best solution for XP SP2.

The windows firewall can be left in place if it is configured to allow access for the IPO applications.

If the PC is on a correctly managed network then the XP firewall is realy just a belt & braces soolution & should not be necessary

There is batch file available which configures the firewall for you.

It was attached to the IP Office Technical Tip 49 on XP SP2. Would be doubly nice if they remember to put it on the Admin CD.
