Hi to all
I’m happy because I have factory new notebook with windows XP SP2 but I’m newbie XP end user. ( I know windows from version 3.1 to W2K)
So, now I install all applications witch I need to work.
And a little problem.
I was install ALEX.
When I start this application with Internet Explorer as a browser I get warning message that:

…… script which I can run can be dangerous for computer …..click here for more information…. ; and next window … Are you sure that you want open this page …

This messages are in no English but in my default language and my translation can be not correct.
What I need ? How to set Explorer (or XP) parameter to keep this security but no for Alex.
Many thanks for solution and for working solution the star is guarantee.

You have to change a setting in the Internet Explorer:
Tools--Internet Options--Advanced--Security, then activate the function "Allow active content to run..."
This should solve the problem.

Thx
It work's

Hi

This is quite a dodgy setting to modify as you are allowing any active content to run on our pc. There is a reason why microsoft made this chage as people were going to webistes that have active content that can install malitious software code including viruses, worms, trojans, malware, spyware etc

Dave

i'd say keep the security on and just click yes when it asks if your sure.....
