Hello everybody,
I am still a newbie at this VPN stuff. I am trying to connect to my office development PC through a Nortel VPN. My DSL connection is running through a Linksys BEFSR11 router and a D-Link 4-port hub. The VPN connection works fine (I can browse my office network, ping my development PC, and even connect to my development PC drives), but I cannot get the Windows XP Remote Desktop connection established. I have connected via Remote Desktop using the Microsoft VPN connection with no problem, but have not been able to connect since the upgrade to the Nortel VPN.
I have tried forwarding port 3389 (the port Remote Desktop uses I think!!!), but haven't had any luck. I am convinced this is a configuration problem with the router, but I can't figure out what I need to configure. I would really appreaciate any help.
Thanks!
