I'm going to remote control another computer from this one but when I click the shortcut it doesnt open. I get an hourglass for about one second, it blinks 2 times and that's it.
I get nothing in the event log about it nor anything else.
No hits on the firewall.
System Properties 'Allow Remote Assistance' is checked but when I click 'learn more about RA it does nothing.
I thought I would just uninstall the services and install again but there is no option in the add/remove windows components that I can find.
I tried clicking directly on rcimlby.exe but no luck.
I have all the latest security updates from the update site (maybe why it doesnt work?) and have searched the 'other updates' for remote issues, nada.
Any ideas?
