I got three computers that have the same problem, they are all Windows XP (I don't have that problem with Windows 2000) and they all do log on to a Windows 2000 Server domain.

My problem is that when the computer stars, after having entered the login informations in order to be logged onto the domain, the computer takes like 2 to 4 minutes to finish the "Applying User/Personal Settings" then once it's done, it successfully loads Windows and I am ready to go.

Thank you.

It is a DNS issue. DNS is the primary means of finding a DC, and it takes a long time for it to time out and attempt older NT style Netbios name resolution.
