I prepared a new installation of WINDOWS XP. I have added this PC to the domain, so if i restart the PC i must have a userid and password to acces the network, and the Home edition is converted to the professional edition.
QUESTION : IS THER A WAY TO UNDO THIS INSTALLATION, SO I GET THE HOME EDITION AGAIN.

hold on a sec.....

if you joined the computer to the domain, then it never was the Home edition, cos you can't do that with Home. I assume you mean you lost the user welcome screen and got the standard login box instead?

If thats what happened, then simply right-click on my computer, and select properties (or go to the control panel and select System Properties), click the Computer Name tab, and then join the computer to a new workgroup. This will remove it from the domain, and should bring up the welcome screen from now on. You may need to unplug the network cable as well.
