Hi I am running Windows XP Pro. Can anyone tell me where I could find information about processes that I can close out in the Task manager. There are a bunch of processes listed and I would like to know if they are all needed. I know that some are not as they may be associated with spyware applications running in the background. I mainly would ike to know if there is a template or something that I can look at when ending task on these processes. Something that would say ok Windows XP needs this, this or this to run successfully and anything else can be ended. Something like that. If anyone knows of this please help me!!!
