I have a Domain consisting of one Windows 2000 Server and 19 Windows XP Pro SP2 workstations. I have an HP plotter shared on one WinXP computer. Some computers have the path to the printer as "\\computer\share-name - Lan Manager Printer Port" and on the security tab under "Groups and Users" the correct user and domain profile is identified. On other computers the path is identified as "LPT1" and the security tab shows the profile for the user and computer that is sharing the printer and these workstations have problems accessing and printing to the shared printer sometimes. I have used the "Add printer wizard" as well as gone through "My Network places" and clicked on and installed the printer, same result. Does this have something to do with maximum concurrent connections?
