Windows XP Pro..Prints only 1 copy

I have an XP Pro machine and am working with some basic graphic programs (Publisher, Pagemaker, etc.) When we print to printers connect over the network an we choose multiple copies it will only print one. This baffles me. One printer is connected to a 98 box via LTP port, one machine is a SHARP copier with fiery rip. It only happens on the XP box, all the others no not do it.
Any ideas?

Fundamentally, the issue is the XP specific driver for the printer.

In the absence of no other printer related issues, you need to ask the printer manufacturer about the issue.

I offer lamely the following suggestions:

. I have seen this where XP was trying to use an earlier OS printer driver

. Occasionally, XP does not get it right the first time. I follow MVP Bruce Sanderson's advice and re-setup the printer connection from ground zero:
