I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro on an eMachine. It is and eTower 533i, it now has 256MB Ram, has a WD 10.2Gb HD, and a 6.4Gb HD, both have been tested for errors and have been low level formatted.
It boots up with the WinXp disc fine, but wil freeze when it gets to the part that says "Setup is starting Windows". The screen also has a blinking cursor on it.
Does anyone know why it is doing this or know how to fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
