Thanks in advance for any help.
I have two people in a start-up associate office that have mistakenly ordered XP Media Center Edition 2006 instead of XP Pro to be used on my local area network. Can I install Windows XP Pro over top of the XP Media Center and bring over the programs and settings already installed? I have done this before on a Toshiba that came with XP Home on it and that worked no problem. I talked to Dell about this already and they sent me at no extra change, XP Pro and a new product key but it's not a 'system restore' CD and I'd have to do everything from scratch.
