Hi all :)
I´ve searched everywhere, and it seems like no one´s had such a problem. Well this is what happens. My puter is working normally as usual, until suddenly the famous "blue screen" appears. And it´s says something like this: Error Windows needs to shutdown to prevent damage to your computer... ok, so I shut it down and restart. Just before starting windows another blue screen appears, with this information on it:

Technical Information:

***STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC000005, 0x80680ACA, 0xF894D730, 0xF894d430)

this is very annoying, because my system won´t boot. :(

My computer:

AMD TB 1000mhz
Motherboard: MSI k7 turbo
HD: 4.2 Gbs and 40 Gbs (both seagate)
RAM: 512 mb
Graphics Card: Creative Geforce 2 MX 32mb

I trully apreciate anyone that can help me out.
PS: sorry for my bad english hehe. Well I´m portuguese :)

this is sounding like conflicting software.....

Hi again! I´d like to thank you guys for helping me.
I guess it´s harder than I actually thought.
The only way to fix my puter is to open it, turn off my HD´s, plug them in again and then reboot. The last time my puter crashed, even the floppy wouldn´t work. It´s weird... The worst part is that it happens wihtout any sympthon. I thought of CPU overheating, Via drivers conflict, some kind of Windows XP protection I just don´t know. I´ve tried it all.
This last time this problem occured, a friend advised me to install Via 4in1 drivers. Let´s see what happens :)
Thank you again, and merry christmas!!!
