Hi. I am stumped here. I am going to list the chain of events that took place while i am building our XP image for a new workstation we have in and maybe someone can help me get out of this mess.

1. Joined win xp pro wks to win2k3 DOmain
2. Installed software that needed to be installed.
3. Removed wks from domain and attempted to change local policies via mmc group policy snap in. I was able to change policies.
4. Joined PC Back to domain becuase i needed to do something on the domain to the PC.
5. Remonved wks from domain and tried to change local group policys once again and now I can not change anything in group policy. I dont understand because i was able to do it before.

Any suggestions explanations would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks =)

There were no error messages. When i went to edit a policy everything was greyed out. Problem is solved anywyas. To resolve it i changed the name of the workstation joined it to the domain then removed and then i was able to edit the Group Policy. Strange, and frustrating but i am glad all is well. Thanks for your help.
