I want to create an image for an IBM laptop and ghost it onto other laptops of the same type. Of course I want to add all the software updates, etc that I need. But I want to make the software more recognizable to our customers, so they know the image is strictly ours. I want to do this by customizing it, maybe by putting our logo in the corner on the desktop, setting certain permissions and even putting a link on the desktop to a support email address. Is there an easy way or a software program that does this? Thank you.

build your image as normal using ghost

for the link

right click and select new shortcut then simply put in the following (example)

mailto:support@tek-tips.com

name the shortcut as you want

when click this it will launch the default email client and populate the address field.
