I have a VPN Server behind a computer running Windows XP with Internet Connection Sharing connecting a cable modem to the LAN. Is it possible to setup ICS to forward the traffic on port 1723 with the protocol 47 to the VPN server? I am able to forward TCP and UDP traffic on any port to it without any problems. Is there a way to get it to forward the VPN protocol? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -XolloX

I don't think ICS will support this. You could either set up the cable modem on your server and run RRAS, or just buy one of the cheap SOHO routers, depending on the number of clients you have... Matt Wray
