Hi,

it happened a few times now that I had to recover from a corrupt regsitry in XP

this means one or more of the files in :
c:\windows\system32\config were corrupt :

c:\windows\system32\config\system
c:\windows\system32\config\software
c:\windows\system32\config\sam
c:\windows\system32\config\security
c:\windows\system32\config\default

Windows has a build-in ASR wizard but that takes time and always a huge backup

Does anyone now of a rather simpel tool which can backup those files (e.g. daily, and keep e.g. a small history)

so that whenever I need to recover just one of those files, I just can copy them back

Thanks

Olivier.
