Here's an issue I'm having. Client of mine has a Toshiba laptop with a D-Link 802.11b pc-card.

The thing will run fine for as long as you use it, but if you wait more than a few minutes or reboot the machine you have to repair the network connection to get it to work.

I disabled power save on the card to no avail. What am I missing here other than the fact that I've hated D-Link stuff for a long time.

D-Link has buggy drivers and install scripts. I am with you, as I returned my stuff, and stayed away from their products.

Have you updated to newer drivers?
