I have 20 Windows XP Home machines that I must setup for lab students. The machines are connected to a Windows 2000 server. Does anyone know of a way to copy the username/password database off one machine and put it on the remaining machines? I’m trying to avoid limiting the students to just one machine to where their files, stored on the server, are secure.

This is going to look strange, me replying to my own thread, but I feel a need to share for the benefit of us all. If I had looked more carefully at my situation and read the MS Knowledge Base articles on Roaming User Profiles I certainly would not have asked this question. But I was in a hurry and wanted to post this question "while looking for the answer" at the same time.

Anyway, I'm sorry for the waste of bandwidth. I think I've answered my own question.
